The Business Development role is part of our small but dedicated customer care, on-site and spares team. Providing support in the installation of new equipment along with servicing and repairs of existing equipment including any spare parts.

The purpose of this role is to grow and establish relationships with new and existing client bases, whilst ensuring enquiries into the business are dealt with in a timely and efficient way. The successful person will have excellent customer relationships and communications skills along with a desire to grow the department.

We are looking for a self-starter who can manage their own workload effectively. The role requires a person to be proactive in there day to day activities whilst maintaining excellent customer relations through timely and clear communication with both internal and external stake holders.


  • Build accounts, and develop global relationships with our customer base

  • Outbound phone calls to all accounts on a regular basis and manage all inbound enquiries, responding to incoming requests efficiently and professionally

  • Maintain meaningful relationships with existing customer

  • Contacting customers suggesting upgrades or additional products and services that maybe of interest to the e.g. Maintenance contracts

  • Familiarise yourself with all products and services offered by the company’s after care department

  • CRM use daily, logging all enquires and providing reports when required
  • Assist Customer Service Manager with duties as and when required

  • Support with sales quotations & administration

  • To ensure that PSL Serve duties undertaken are compliant with the requirements of the Companies Environmental Health & Safety Policy and ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System


  • Degree in marketing, business administration or similar desirable

  • Minimum 1 year business development/sales experience

  • Self-motivated, Proactive target driven individual

  • Be able to deliver a high level of customer care and develop long standing customer relationships

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

  • Organisation skills
